本日はPATICOの美味しい「パン・ド・ジェンヌ」です。

ジェンヌとはイタリアのジェノバ（都市）の事で、ジェノバのパンという意味のパン・ド・ジェンヌはアーモンドをたっぷり使ったリッチなお菓子です。

１９世紀初頭に、フランス軍がジェノヴァを包囲したときに、食料が時のマセナ将軍に捧げられたというお菓子です。

しっとりとしたアーモンドと焦がしバターの風味豊かな焼き菓子。

Last but not least, today I’m going to introduce the delicious “Pain de jenne”.

It means “Genova’s bread”.

Jenne is a bread which is made with a plenty of almonds.

It is said that when French army has surrounded the Genova area, it was given to the General Massena.
